Litmos offers the ability to add three types of questions within an assessment:
- Multiple Choice – Giving the learner the option of one or more predetermined answers.
- Keyword – The answer is typed by the learner in a short answer format. The system looks for keywords predetermined by the creator of the question.
- Free Text – Like Keyword, the answer is typed by the learner in a short answer format. But unlike Keyword, a user who is an Administrator or Account Owner, needs to mark the answer as either Correct or Incorrect.
In order to mark the answer as either Correct or Incorrect for Free Text, an Administrator or Account Owner will need to access the question in either of these two these ways:
- On the Dashboard:
- In Courses within the course that contains the Assessment:
Choose the name of the learner who needs the assessment question marked. The marking screen will then appear with all the questions that need to be marked. Make a comment (optional) and mark the answer as either Correct or Incorrect.
We built out a course all around creating Assessments in Litmos, check it out here: How To: Create an Assessment.
