All Litmos accounts are password protected and when you’re online using Litmos you are protected by a SSL (HTTPS) secure connection. Our core database and servers are hosted in a world class data center and managed by Rackspace. We also use Amazon’s S3 storage technology to store and serve uploaded files. For more information, please see our FAQ’s page here: http://www.litmos.com/faq
All of the content you upload to your account is therefore password protected i.e. users must be logged in to their accounts to see modules and unless content is attached under the “Additional Documents” section of the course, it is not able to be downloaded by learners.
In saying that, while we do everything we can to protect your information on the servers, with the nature of the Internet the way it is, if someone really wanted to copy your content, they could probably find a way.
