Do Team Leaders/Admins receive automated notifications?
No, Team Leaders/ Admins do not receive any automated course notifications.
Can a Team Leader/Admin assign a Course or Learning Path to an individual in his team?
Yes, Team Leaders/ Admins can assign Courses or Learning Paths to individuals that belong to teams that they lead, and the role has the "Manage People" option enabled under Roles and Permissions (unless they are the creator of the Course/LP).
Additionally, the Team Leader/ Admin must have access to the Course or Learning Path in order to assign it to users within their team. The Team Leaders/ Admins will have access to the course if:
- They or another team admin (of the same team) have created a course for that team
- They are assigned to the course/LP
- They have the course made available to them in either the Course Library. Team Course Library or the Team Leader Library.
Can a time to complete a course constraint be set by a Team Leader/ Admin?
In most cases, Team Leaders/ Admins cannot set a time constraint to a course; however, if the Team Leader has access to the Courses tab and has created the course, they can set a time constraint.
Can Team Leaders/ Admins import new Learners to any team in our Litmos account?
No, Team Leaders/ Admins can only import new Learners to Teams that they lead, and sub teams of those teams. Imports require that the Team Leader/ Admin has permission to Manage People. See the Team Admin/ Team Leader article for more information.
Can a Team Leader add new users to their teams?
Yes, they can add users one-by-one or import new users by bulk import to their teams. Adding users require that the Team Leader/ Admin has permission to Manage People. See the Team Admin/ Team Leader article for more information.
When a Team Leader/ Admin Logs into Litmos, it is not populated. How can I fix this?
Team Leader/ Admin will only be able to see the Teams that they have been given permission to see. Therefore, if they have the Team Leader/ Admin role but have not been made a Team Leader/ Admin of a Team their Admin view will be blank. To solve this issue, promote the user as a Team Leader or Team Admin for a Team.
