Create or Delete a Category

Use categories to sort your Courses by subject allowing users and administrators to browse courses by topic.  

To create a new Category:

  1. In Admin View click Create a new course or open an existing course and navigate to the Settings sub tab
  2. Navigate to the Display section
  3. Select Create a new category from the Categories drop down menu
  4. Enter a category title in the text field and click Save

Note:  Available to Account Owners and Administrators.

OR

  1. In Admin View, navigate to the Account tab
  2. Select the Categories sub tab
  3. Select Add new category
  4. Enter a category title in the text field and click Save

Note:  Only available for Account Owners.

To delete a category:

  1. Navigate to the Account tab.
  2. Select the Categories sub tab.
  3. Click the 'X' next to the title of the category you wish to deleteDelete_categories.JPG.

 Note:  Deleting categories is only available to users with the access role of Account Owner.
