Importing users using special characters (such as Chinese,Korean, or Hebrew)

To import users using Litmos bulk import using special characters including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew and more, you can follow the bulk import instructions, however, you may need to make two additional changes in order to ensure a successful import.

Create a CSV file that supports special characters

Not all programs, including Microsoft Excel, will support CSV files using all characters.  Therefore, if you are bulk importing these users, you may need to export the CSV file from a program that supports special characters.  If you are unaware of a program that has this capability, we recommend using Google Sheets to export the CSV file.

The Language Column

Use the Language column to identify the language of the users that are being imported.  Please see this article for the language codes.
