Admin clicks "Assign to Training" on a contact record and receives the following error message

This indicates that the system identified that the learner already exists in Litmos, so a new profile cannot be created, instead we must connect the Salesforce contact to the Litmos user. In order to connect these, the admin needs to check the "Sync Litmos" box on the contact record. This will put the contact in the Sync Queue so the profiles can be synced together. Once the sync is successful the contact can be assigned training through Salesforce.
Check that the integration user is of proper access level to use the API call that is used when pressing "assign to training", as the "this username already exists" error can also appear when the integration user access is not correct.
